The new terminal will occupy 25 hectares of the New Port Zone in Poti’s former shipyard. The total length of the berthing facilities will be 650 meters, with a water depth of 12 m. This will be the first modern facility in Georgia to handle deep-water vessels by 2020.

Prime Concrete also partnered with the Dutch companies Royal HaskoningDHV, which developed the most efficient design for berth and pier construction. We totally changed existing project design, made is more modern and more cost-effective for the customer.
SCOPE OF WORKS:
Berth
• Demolition of existing berth
• Installation of up to 60 m drilled concrete piles (300 pcs)
• Installation of sheet pile wall (Length – 300 m)
• Installation of berth main structure with precast concrete elements – Installation of berth terminal yard with In-situ concrete
• Installation of quay furniture – bollards and fenders
Pier I
• Demolition of existing pier
• Installation of sheet pile wall (Length – 70 m)
• Installation of Pier main structure with precast concrete elements – Installation of pier surface with In-situ concrete
• Installation of seaport beacon
Pier II
• Demolition of existing pier cap
• Installation of sheet pile wall (Length – 50 m)
• Installation of Pier main structure with precast concrete elements – Installation of pier surface with In-situ concrete
Installation of seaport beacon Dolphin Bridge
• Installation of round sheet pile wall – dia.13m – Installation of steel structure
• Construction of bridge – length 27m
